Paula Román is an actress, writer, director, and producer. After earning her medical degree in Spain, she decided to trade the doctor’s office for the screen and keep healing in a different way: through stories with humor, emotion, and a pulse of their own.

Founder of Marcapasos Films, Paula has built her career between Madrid, New York, and Los Angeles, creating comedy, fiction, and narrative projects where intense characters, unexpected situations, and a deeply life-affirming point of view come together.
